The RSPCA have found a dog tied to a lamp post which they describe as one of the thinnest dogs they have ever seen. The dog was found in Mortimer Row in Bradford Moor, after a member of public alerted the charity to the male dogs whereabouts.
The dog has been named Murphy by the RSPCA staff who have been dealing with him, and has been described as liver coloured. Murphy was said to have sore patches of skin where he had sat or lay down such was the extent of his neglect. Murphy had not been microchipped, ID tagged or given a collar.
The RSPCA are calling for anyone who might have information on how Murphy had arrived in this state.
