Scottish police have warned that two dogs may have been stolen to order after they went missing from a kennel in Fife . It is suspected that the two Jack Russells may have been stolen to fuel increasing demand for the jackadoodle dog breed a cross between a Jack Russell and a poodle. The pet dogs have been missing since Monday, when they were taken from a kennel behind Kirkcaldy garage Cruden Motors . Six year old Willow is a small and naturally thin dog, whilst her three year old daughter, Shock, is nearly all white.
The dogs owner, Alex Cruden, who also owns the garage, was in England at the time and had left a friend in charge of the animals . Mr Cruden spoke of his sheer disappointment at the pets disappearance, saying it was the first time he has had any trouble in the 17 years he has kennelled dogs. Mr Cruden also said the theft was made worse by the fact that it had been the first time he had bred a dog to keep a line going, though that now appears to be in vein.
Inspector Stevie Hamilton of Fife Constabulary urged anyone with any information to come forward.
