ASDA financial services have relaunched their pet insurance products in a bid to become one of the UK’s largest pet insurers . Already a leading provider of pet products, the supermarket are hoping to break into the top three with the relaunch of their pet insurance . There are three types of dog insurance product on offer from ASDA, labelled the ‘value’, ‘standard’ and ‘superior’ products. All tariffs cover for death and serious illness, costing from as little as £4.65 per month.
Head of ASDA’s Insurance and Savings, Gideon Ingham, said, ‘Pet insurance is close to our hearts as it was the first product that ASDA Financial Services launched. In a marketplace where it can be difficult to find the right policy, we were keen to ensure we got it right which we believe we have. We are confident that consumers will respond positively to the pricing and benefits available, and a top three position is very achievable. Many pet owners already see ASDA as the place to go thanks to our famous pet weeks and great value of food, toys and pet accessories . Now they can be sure that they will find the same value, quality and service in our insurance products .’
