A dog that hit the headlines after his owner took him on numerous paragliding adventures has returned home safely after he was feared missing.
Collie cross-breed Harry was absent from his Northern Ireland home for more than three weeks before a family of foreign nationals found the pooch near Portadown, the BBC reports.
The ten-year-old went astray from owner Tony Conway’s house in Craigavon, but was luckily recognised after the family saw on the BBC website that he was missing.
Harry found fame when Mr Conway decided to use a special harness to transport his four-legged friend over Northern Ireland by air – and the owner said he was pleased to find those who discovered the dog had treated him “like a king”.
“It was very difficult to take him from them as they clearly had grown to love him. We are elated and very much in shock,” Mr Conway explained.
He revealed the family are to be given one of Harry’s puppies by way of thank you and to reward them for the kindness they showed to his animal.
