Charity dog walk taking place in Hanbury

Dog owners have been invited to take part in a charity walk through the Hanbury countryside that is taking place later this month.

People with pooches of any shape and size can get involved in the Go Walkies for Guide Dogs and enjoy one of three routes that are catered for walkers with different abilities, the Worcester News reports.

The Jinney Ring Centre has organised the event, which is being held on April 14th between 11:00 BST and 14:00 BST.

Owner of the tourist attraction Amanda Sunter said many people are likely to be out for a stroll on Sunday anyway, so they might as well join the charity in walking for a fantastic cause.

She was quoted as saying: “You don’t even need to have a dog to take part. You can bring along a cuddly toy or team up with friends that have dogs and make a day of it.”

All those who take part have been asked to raise a minimum of £10 through sponsorship or personal donations, while they will also receive a voucher to spend at the centre.
