Two well known dog lovers want UK to donate food for rescue dogs

Animal lover Paul O’Grady has launched a nationwide campaign ‘Feeding Brighter Futures’ alongside pet lover Amanda Holden to help feed abandoned dogs.

Animal rescue centres up and down the UK are struggling to cope with the numbers of dogs that have been abandoned many of which come to them in a malnourished state. This has been the findings of research conducted by the Association of Dog and Cat Homes earlier this year.

The dog food manufacturer Pedigree has pledged to donate one million meals to re-homing centres across the UK but is asking people to make donations as well.

To tie in with the campaign a video has been launched of Paul O’Grady and Amanda Holden urging people to take part in helping to feed abandoned dogs.
