Dog trainer spills the beans on the luxuries of the royal corgis

Information on the most famous dogs in the UK has been revealed by a man who used to work with them. The Queen has always been accompanied by a pack of corgis, but what is life like for the Royal pooches?

Dr Roger Mugford, a trainer who worked with the dogs, has told about the luxuries that they get. Turn your dog’s eyes away now so that he or she doesn’t get jealous!

Each of the dogs were supposedly given an “individually designed menu”, Mugford has been reported to say, “including an array of homeopathic and herbal remedies.”

“Their food was served by a butler in an eclectic collection of battered silver and porcelain dishes.

“As I watched, the Queen got the corgis to sit in a semi-circle around her, and then fed them one by one, in order of seniority. The other just sat and patiently waited their turn.”

It has previously been reported that the dogs get the best in terms of food. No canned dog food for them, these corgis get fed fillet steak, chicken breast and home-made gravy.

The Queen has definite views about how dogs should be cared for,” Mugford continued. “She doesn’t tolerate unkindness, and I remember she took a very dim view of President Lyndon B Johnson picking his dogs up by their ears.”

The Queen was gifted with a corgi on her 18th birthday, and since then has been enamoured by the breed, and has kept a group of corgis with her ever since.
